Realme GT 7 Pro: First Phone in India with Underwater Photography Mode and Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC Launches Soon
Realme has officially announced the launch date for its flagship Realme GT 7 Pro in China, set for November 4. Following its release there, the GT 7 Pro will make its way to the Indian market later this month, offering a range of high-end features that promise to redefine smartphone capabilities.
Realme is setting new benchmarks by introducing the first phone in India equipped with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, bringing ultra-fast processing with custom Orion core CPUs that clock up to 4.32GHz. The device pairs this powerhouse chipset with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, promising an impressive performance.
Realme GT 7 Pro: Telephoto and Underwater Camera Capabilities
Unlike most flagships this year, which feature periscope telephoto lenses, the Realme GT 7 Pro is engineered with a unique underwater photography mode. This mode not only enables underwater fingerprint unlocking but also opens the camera app immediately after unlocking, allowing users to capture images and zoom in using both the rear and front cameras. The phone even has an automatic water-ejection feature to prevent water damage, ensuring durability during underwater adventures.
The GT 7 Pro also incorporates Realme’s AI DMotion algorithm, which captures action shots at an astonishing speed of 1/1,000 second. The telephoto camera is confirmed to have a 3X optical zoom, 6X lossless zoom, and an impressive 120X digital zoom.
Key Specs and Price
Other standout specifications include a 6,500 mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging, a Samsung Eco 2 OLED Plus display, and three color options: Mars Exploration Edition, Star Trail Titanium, and Light Domain White. With a starting price of CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs 47,100 in China), the Realme GT 7 Pro is set to deliver powerful technology and unique features in an exciting new package.
