Cellecor C103 Play Earbuds: Premium Design and Impressive Sound at a Budget Price

Cellecor, a consumer electronics brand, has recently introduced its latest wireless gaming earbuds, the Cellecor C103 Play. We had the opportunity to test the black variant of these earbuds for 15 days. Here’s a detailed review based on our experience.

Design and Aesthetics

Inside the box, you'll find a charging case, a Type-C cable, a warranty card, a user manual, and two extra sets of ear tips. The C103 Play features a sleek, glossy-finish case that looks premium. The charging case comes with an LED indicator, a Type-C charging port at the back, and Cellecor branding on the front. Opening the lid reveals the earbuds, which also have an LED indicator and are neatly branded.

The earbuds feature microphones on the top and bottom, and a multi-function touch sensor adds to their ease of use. The black earbuds are accentuated by white earbud caps, giving them a modern and stylish appearance.

Comfort and Connectivity

The earbuds fit snugly in the ear, offering comfort right from the start. Pairing the device is quick and simple—just turn on Bluetooth on your phone, and the buds connect instantly. Once paired, they automatically reconnect every time you place them in your ear. The C103 Play supports Bluetooth 5.3, ensuring a stable connection.

Battery Life

On a full charge, the earbuds can last over 10 days. I charged the buds completely before my first use, and they worked seamlessly for 10 days straight. Of course, the duration will vary depending on how many hours you use them each day.

Key Features

While the buds lack Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), they do come with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC). During a noisy metro ride, I could still enjoy my music without much disruption, though background noise wasn't completely eliminated. The multi-function touch sensor allows you to control volume, switch tracks, pause playback, and easily toggle between music and gaming modes.

The touch sensor also helps you answer or reject calls. The earbuds power off automatically when not in use for a while. For gamers, the C103 Play is equipped with a 50-millisecond low-latency mode, ensuring excellent sync between audio and visuals during gaming sessions.

Final Verdict: Are the Cellecor C103 Play Earbuds Worth Buying?

Priced at ₹1,199 (₹999 on Flipkart), the Cellecor C103 Play is a great option for those seeking an affordable gaming audio device. With its premium design and solid sound quality, these earbuds deliver excellent value for money. If you're on a budget but don't want to compromise on features and style, these buds are definitely worth considering.
