Apple's 'It's Glowtime' Event Unveils iPhone 16 Series, Apple Watch 10, and More: Here's What to Expect

The highly anticipated Apple 'It's Glowtime' event has arrived, thrilling fans around the world. Today, Apple is set to unveil the next-generation iPhone 16 series and Apple Watch Series 10. Along with new hardware, the tech giant is expected to announce the release dates for major software updates including iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, watchOS 11, VisionOS 2, and macOS Sequoia.

The event, taking place at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, will begin at 10:00 am PST (10:30 pm IST) and will be live-streamed on Apple’s official YouTube channel and website.

Apple is rumored to launch four new iPhones: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Additionally, the company may reveal the Apple Watch Series 10 and AirPods 4.

One of the highlights is the larger displays on the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, which are expected to feature 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screens, respectively. The Pro models are also rumored to incorporate Apple's new Border Reduction Structure (BRS) technology, allowing for thinner bezels compared to last year’s models.

The iPhone 16 Pro models are likely to be powered by the A18 Pro chipset, while the standard iPhone 16 is expected to feature the A18 chipset.

Camera Enhancements and Battery Life

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are anticipated to come with a dual-camera setup similar to their predecessors, but with significant upgrades. A 48MP wide-angle lens with 1x and 2x zoom may be featured in these models. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is rumored to have a superior 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera, offering an enhanced photography experience. Battery life also seems promising, with the new iPhones reportedly housing a 4,676mAh battery.
