Record-Breaking Bookings in 66 Hours

VinFast Auto has announced an unprecedented achievement with its VF 3 compact electric SUV, securing a record-breaking 27,649 bookings within just 66 hours. This remarkable feat was accomplished despite the non-refundable and non-transferable nature of the pre-order deposits. The VF 3's introductory price ranges from 235 million VND (approximately $9,248, including battery subscription) to 315 million VND (about $12,390, including battery) for customers who placed deposits between May 13 and May 15.

Warranty and Delivery Details

The VF 3 offers substantial warranty coverage: an 8-year unlimited mileage warranty on the battery and a 7-year or 160,000 km warranty on the vehicle. The first VF 3 cars are expected to be delivered to customers starting in August 2024, with at least 20,000 vehicles planned for delivery within the year.

CEO's Statement on Record-Breaking Pre-Orders

Duong Thi Thu Trang, CEO of VinFast Vietnam, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from Vietnamese customers, stating that the 27,649 pre-orders within 66 hours demonstrate the strong trust and support for the VinFast brand. She emphasized the company's commitment to maintaining this support as they strive to establish themselves as a world-class Vietnamese automaker.

Vehicle Specifications and Performance

The VF 3 is designed as a compact electric SUV, measuring 3,190mm in length, 1,678mm in width, and 1,620mm in height, with a storage capacity of 550 litres. Although specific details about the battery pack are not yet available, VinFast claims that the VF 3 can travel up to 200 km on a single charge. The VF 3 is offered in two variants, Eco and Plus, and features a single-motor configuration.

Interior Features

The VF 3's interior boasts a range of modern features, including a large 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The driver benefits from a digital instrument cluster and a multi-function, two-spoke design steering wheel. Additional amenities include automatic climate control, dual airbags, and cruise control, ensuring a comfortable and safe driving experience.
