Hero has introduced the concept model of Surge S32 (Surge) multi-purpose three-wheeler at Hero World 2024 organized at its Innovation Center in Jaipur. It will work as a three-wheeler as well as an electric scooter. This scooter can be attached and detached from the three-wheeler in a few minutes. The company is planning to offer it to those customers who are self-employed and want to step into cargo or transportation services on a small scale.

Cargo vehicles can be made by joining three-wheeler

This is the SURGE32 series of this electric vehicle, in which two separate electric vehicle units are joined together to become one electric vehicle. Actually, in this vehicle, a two-wheeler can be attached to a cargo three-wheeler. Initially, it is a three-wheeler with a seating capacity for 2 people in the front seat, but when the scooter comes out of it, the seating capacity shifts to the seat of the scooter.

According to the company, it takes only 3 minutes to convert from a three-wheeler to a two-wheeler and from a two-wheeler to a three-wheeler. The company will launch a total of 4 variants in this series, S32 PV, S32 LD, S32 HD and S32 FB. The company has showcased S32 LD at Hero World 2024.

Capacity to carry 500 Kg weight

Surge S32 gets different batteries and motors for three-wheelers and two-wheelers. Its three-wheeler cargo unit has a power of 10 kW. For this, it has been connected to an 11 kWh battery. After connecting the electric scooter to the three-wheeler, it can be driven at a top speed of 50 kilometers per hour. The top speed of its electric scooter unit is 60 kilometers per hour. A 3.5 kWh battery has been installed in the two-wheeler, which gives it a maximum power of 3 kW. The load capacity of this three-wheeler is up to 500 kg.
