Indian company introduced the world's first high-voltage electric bike

Along with the demand for electric vehicles in India, there is also continuous entry of new players. While on one hand giants like Ola, Ather, Bajaj and Hero are giving impetus to this segment, on the other hand new start-ups have increased the competition. This time in Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet (TNGIM-24), Chennai based new electric two-wheeler player Raptee has introduced its new electric motorcycle, which the company claims is the world's first high-voltage electric bike.

Raptee is certainly a new name in the world of electric two-wheelers but the company's plans are quite strong. The company has set up its first factory on 4 acres in Chennai, with an initial investment of Rs 85 crore. Apart from being a research and development center for vehicles, state-of-the-art technology is being used in this facility. The company is aiming to produce 1 lakh units annually from this factory. It also includes a dedicated battery pack assembly line.
